Arrgghh Ye' Wicked? + Bonus Hippo:)

Well, we had a fantastic time at "Wicked"!! Our group was able to meet the talented performer's after the show. It was hard to believe their voices came out of those bodies. My fav was "Popular".
I'm a little pooped, but I did find some time to whip a couple of cards. On my pirate card, I used our new orange gingham paper. I sanded then antiqued it a bit. I also used my new Doodlebug chunky glitter. LOVE IT! I just had to use hippo again, i think she's sooo cute:) I can't wait to use the orange gingham for Halloween. Hey, who said that? Have a great rest of the weekend.

hippo birdie to you!!

And to me! Yep, it's my birthday today. So, i'll be fast, my daughter and I are off to see "Wicked". Wahoo!!
This card is a no brainer. You HAVE to pair the birdie and party hat with our adorable new hippo! I've got the long grass in there too. Don't forget the cute new sentiment "hippo birdie to you". And of course, the new petite green grass GINGHAM. See you tomorrow:)

we all live in .....

A Muse Bouche heaven! here's my take on our adorable sub. I'm sure i'm not the only one to think of the "Yellow Submarine" from the Beatle's. At least i hope not:) Please pardon operator issues with the picture. I really need lessons, *sigh* The new yellow gingham is much more vibrant than how it looks here. Enjoy and have a "sublime" day!!

You had me at hello!

A Muse has done it again! Our upcoming release, "Summer Fun" is a blast of fun to play with.
My heart did flip flops when i saw that we had gingham papers. It's not your mother's gingham, the colors are gorgeous and the print is so delicate. Now, don't be afraid that you'll turn country or sumpin'. You'll use it with all of our other delicious papers.
I've got to make this a quick one. SO, many A Muse bouches to plan:) Don't forget to check out the A Muse blog for fun peeks. Of course our designers and instructors blogs have fabulous peeks too.

Stamps: Palm silhouette, Warm hello, Skinny oval bl sm
Papers: Buttercup yellow 4-bar, Blue gingham, Orange crush
Twinkle stickers and Stickles distress in Antique linen (for the sand on the oval)

hey you!! wake up!!

well, i think i am finally getting over my jet lag. we went to hawaii during spring break, from the east coast. wow, what a flight to get there but definately worth the pain. it really is a spectacular place to go. i was born in honolulu but left when i was 3. so, it was quite an experience to go back there after all of these years. we did pearl harbor, which was very sobering. climbed diamond head i thought i was going to have a stroke! i don't think i have ever sweated that much in my life:D i really thought i was going to have to have someone push me up the last flight of stairs.

i was amazed at the other people hiking up in flip flops (JENN if you see this :) and wearing coats and jeans . spent a day at the polynesian cultural center, saw where "lost" is filmed on the way there. went to the dole plantation for pineapple ice cream and the pineapple maze. my fav was the north shore, truly what you picture hawaii to look like. i can't wait to go back.

well, i missed the a muse bouche due to my travel coma, but here is some dessert:) of course i had to add some island flavor, hope you like it! i used the sakura and bamboo stamps from our newly hatched line. couldn't resist my love of hula girl too! don't forget to check out the a muse website for the fun new release and leave a comment for your chance to win a great prize!! see you soon, off to teach a class tomorrow!

one tasty a muse bouche morsel

well, finally back to some blogging. i have been bloggone absent. a muse's newest release will be for all to peruse tomorrow. you will just fall in love with "love blooms". i 'm so glad to get one peeky in for you. i 'll be able to get some more posted this week.

i used our new "juliette" paper's, aren't they just the most delicious colors?!! the umbrella, ella, ella, (couldn't resist:) , is so versatile. can't you see it for a shower invite, a basic hello or a get well card?

i also used the tower and greetings from seattle stamps. although i haven't lived in the emerald city for a number of years. i will always consider the northwest my home.
