summertime

my lovely mentor, stamp goddess and all around talented artist asked to contribute to her blog.  of course!!
i can't believe it's been  seven years since i walked into colorful creations and met jenn. i have learned so much from her and about her. especially, her love of the beach!  and flip flops:)   for the month of july, everyday will feature something beachy, oceany, summery.  jenn truly has a big heart, she is donating her craftiness in a silent auction for her friends mother, sue, who has cancer.  i am also giving this card to the basket of goodies. jenn, thank you for the wonderful memories.

Let's hope it was worth all of the trouble!

this year, a muse's calendar will be benefiting a very special cause. little charley beers will be remembered. as a mother i cannot fathom the loss of one of my children. my heart goes out to amanda and her family.

Vintage christmas

i have been super busy this week! my husbands coast guard change of command is tomorrow. but i did manage to make a card! yippee...i will post specifics later. please hop to the amuse lounge to see what our fabulous instructors have made:)

happy birthday dylan!!

my little guy is double digits now, 10 years old. when did that happen?! he's my youngest, still huggy and lovey, thank goodness. here are the cupcakes i brought to his class. i think they turned out pretty dang cute!! nothing like some baking admiration from a bunch of 4th graders, haha!!
little huggy bear is floating in a lifesaver gummy, along a graham cracker crumb beach. he's getting ready for a muses's fun in the sun. nice segue don't you think?:)
