exam week

well, when wednesday comes along my 2 high schoolers will have been off from school for over a week! it was exam time this past week. they were exempt (great kids for getting good grades). then we have a four day weekend! i have enjoyed having them home, it reminded me of our winter break we used have when we lived on cape cod. it is super cold here in north carolina, as with most everywhere on the east coast. they say snow tomorrow, i doubt it though. snow here is like 1 inch and everyone freaks out.
i am totally loving the new sweet shop stamps by a muse!! they are so adorable!! i used them with my new nestabilities. i was hesitant to get these, but after trying one out with my cuttlebug, i splurged for some more. they are super easy and compatible with many die-cut machines.
here are few things i whipped up. i love the little catepillar with the apple. i also can't get enough of these treat bags!! my daughter sophie has made a million of them in different sizes, she's so funny. i met sweet tonya, the owner of picture to page in yorktown, va. and i'll be teaching a class on feb. 28th . come see me for an a muse fix, if you're in the area:)

what happens when christmas and migraines meet each other?

....NOTHING!! but first Happy New Year! I can't believe it's already the 10th. I've been joking that I should start my cards now for this December. I am finally on the upswing from my holiday whammy migraine. I was soooo behind with my card samples and I didn't even get any sneak peeks out. I felt like such a big L on my forehead.

I'm so pumped to see the A muse lounge is such a hit with everyone! It's so much fun to see all the ladies chatting away. The A muse Valentine line is so sweet and yummy, i just want to gobble it all up. And i did ;) hahaha . I just the LOVE, "The Love Shack" and all of the chocolate sentiments. I got my groove on and made a cute, fun treat bag. As my 8 year would say,"Easy peasy lemon squeezy". Plus some cards for my upcoming class, (fingers crossed for some signer uppers!!) Whoa!! the pink on the love shack looks really bright in my photo! it is much more subdued in real life.
I saw the treat bag on Geeta's, "Pretty little packages class", she was kind enough to send me the template. Jenn is also doing one in her class too, GREAT minds think alike!!:) Well, I'm off the to stamp while juices are still goin' on!! Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend. Easy duzzy fuzzy wuzzy:)
